Water board
[edit]Thank you for the edit of Water board. I don't doubt the truth of bullets 2 and 3, however, please complete the bullets with pointers to reliable sources, per WP:RS. Thanks. -- Iterator12n Talk 14:45, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'll try and add them, thanks for the notification. It may take some time as I'm not sure that I haven't interpreted the sources too much. Pbech (talk) 15:13, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I changed something here and there. There's a few points that are difficult to "source" without giving a long list of examples, notably the fact that many hoogheemraadschappen were founded by charter of the Count of Holland (including Charles V). If you have any further comments, I'd be happy to try and address them. Pbech (talk) 16:55, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- With your edit, the section is much more informative. I have one question, re. "the term has no legal meaning." Do you mean "the term has no legal meaning, point blank" OR "the term has no legal meaning distinct from waterschap"? -- Iterator12n Talk 18:50, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the Waterschapswet (the law that regulates these bodies) mentions only "waterschap" and makes no mention of "hoogheemraadschap". It's just that some waterschappen still choose to call themselves hoogheemraadschap, often for historical reasons. Shall I just add a comment along those lines to the article? Pbech (talk) 19:03, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, a short comment along these lines would be great. Thanks. -- Iterator12n Talk 04:53, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Hoi Paul, het betrof in dit geval een snelle overzetting van het Engelse artikel naar Wiki-NL. Totaal neutraal qua tekst. Evenals Japanoise. M.vr.gr. 94.210.224.156 (talk) 21:00, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Pbech. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Pbech~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
