I was wondering what Framwellgate was a few days ago - I found various references on the internet about it but not really explaining where it was. Do you know/could you find this out?

Hugh Bayley

Like you I have seen Hugh Bayley's birth as listed as Oxford in various publications but in Blakes it quotes the birth place as being Maidenhead [1] Its just a case of take your pick, there are no real clues in his biography as to confuse matters he was educated in Hertford.Rob Streatham 11:49, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

How come Richmond Town Council uses the arms of Balliol, with a sash of Brittany and topped with the White Rose of York? No Balliol has ever held Richmond, nor was Richmond anything but Tudor if not Lancastrian--being held first of all John of Gaunt's titles and the title held by Henry VII at Bosworth.
