This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Edgar Soberón, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.bergelli.com/artist.php?id=21. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:50, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Edgar Soberón

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Edgar Soberón requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 15:54, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Paulina Hawkins! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 339 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Edgar Soberon - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

I had to back out your recent change - you provided no reference for your assertions. Unfortunately, when a major change is made to an article to credit someone previously unmentioned, it is all too often a prank of some form. Please cite your sources before re-introducing that edit. Thanks, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 05:48, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're getting closer - I see you cited at least one reference. But I had to revert this series of edits too. I couldn't quite tell what you meant to do - the references simply flagged an error. Please check any page you edit after you edit it to make sure no errors appear. You might want to read WP:REF to make sure you get the format of references correct.
