Andrees Handatlas
[edit]Hello, can you provide a source for the edits to the table in Andrees Allgemeiner Handatlas? Some of the library catalogs were quite specific about the revision numbers and dates, both of which they presumably got from the title page of the volumes. For example, on the 5th edition, where you've inserted two. Thanks. flux.books 15:11, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
The answer is on the relevant page. P.D. 02/18/06
I replied a bit in Talk:Atlas to the relevant specifics of your most recent comments there.
But you seem a bit put out by my edits (you said, "I don't establish standards here. Do you?"); which is odd to me, as I see it the other way around! You might not have noticed that in both of these two pages, I'd substantially rewritten a section, then you edited what I'd added - and in ways that while sometimes useful, weren't always consistent with the bigger picture.
Ultimately of course it's the quality of the articles that matters. A really good article will have the facts right, and also have some larger structure and themes. It's hard to maintain that with quick edits to a page. flux.books 22:08, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- Nice to have you along. Full marks for what you did! What you said is generally right - but old stuff. Also have a look at the relevant page. Paul Drew 11:08, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
