Your article does a great job with the details included and is already pretty well developed! All that I would suggest is shortening your sentences a bit more, such as in, "Tobien was born in 1921 near Detroit, Michigan, and her father worked for Ford Motor Company." I think the statement of where she was born should be separated from where her father worked.
