Speedy deletion nomination of Tanaza
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tanaza, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 05:27, 26 January 2013 (UTC) I'll

[edit]Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Your references were all to the company itself, obviously not neutral or adequate to establish notability. Also, there are no verifiable figures about the company's staffing, profits, turnover etc. Could be one person for all we are told.
- It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. There was very little about the company, just what it was selling. Most of the claims made for the product lacked independent sources.
- If you recreate, also make sure you don't copy text from a website unless it states clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation.
I'll shortly post the deleted text here Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:44, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
- It's obviously better than it was, but my feeling is that there is still too little about the company that is the subject of the article. All we know is that it's in Milan. As long as the article is all about the product, I think it's a candidate for speedy deletion. The two messages following yours on my talk had a similar problem. One was supposed to be a biography, actually advertising the editor's book, the second was a software article just telling us how wonderful it was. Now, yours has references and a bit of history, but it still concentrates on what is being sold too much Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:57, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- To my mind there is still not enough about the company itself. I'm on holiday from Wednesday, why don't you repost it then? I think it might survive, and if it doesn't, at least it won't be me swinging the axe (: Jimfbleak - talk to me? 19:22, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
