The article The deMon2k Program appeared to be an attempt to publicise or promote its subject, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy, and so it has been deleted. I also advise you that before you create any more articles, you have a look at Wikipedia's notability guidelines, as it is not clear to me that the deMon2k Program satisfies those guidelines, and if it doesn't then any article about it, no matter how it may be written, is likely to be deleted, meaning that any work put into it will be wasted. I also see that an article on the same subject has been deleted from Spanish Wikipedia, but I have no way of knowing whether you created that one too. My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. The deMon2k Program is a Computational Chemistry Software. Following your advice how can I include the entry deMon2k in the list of Computational Chemistry Program under the Category: Computational chemistry software in the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Computational_chemistry_software ? Would it be possible to recover the article which has been deleted in order to read it as a link once the deMon2k has been listed in the Computational Chemistry Program list? Many thanks for all your help. Patrizia1961 (talk) 16:43, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
