This is just pure information of the festival, simmilar to other articles about theatre festivals. I have read the rules and still do not know how to write an article about a project that already exists, operates and is not commercia. PathfinderPL (talk) 20:52, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- What you need is some citations. See WP:CITE if you have not already. Another problem is that this is the first time the event has been held, right? That leads people to see this as not noteworthy and suspect you are trying to promote the event. First thing first, the best defense would be a newspaper article, etc. - the more the better. - Additionally, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, which means that many editors believe that planned events, like festivals, that haven't happened yet, are not notable enough to include in Wikipedia. If it's deleted, you may need to wait until the festival has happened, and has received coverage in reliable sources, before creating the article. --Darkwind (talk) 21:00, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- There was a hyperlink to a website of Theatre ROW in NYC, they are an independent source of information, the information is now synthetized in one simple sentence... we wait for an article to be published. What to do now to remove the box? PathfinderPL (talk) 22:04, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- I userfied the page to User:PathfinderPL/United Solo Theatre Festival. Once, the festival takes place, and you have published references, you can re-add it. Be careful to identity why the festival was notable, or it will be vulnerable to deletion on notability grounds. It is not enough for the festival just to take place and be written about. The festival must be more meaningful. RJ (talk) 22:52, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
