Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Parth Desai, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

[edit]At Talk:Electric_vehicle you wrote that "the History section needs a source", which got my attention because you would usually add that yourself right in the article, which would look like this -
By the 20th century, electric cars and rail transport were commonplace, with commercial electric automobiles having the majority of the market. [citation needed]
And you can request that other editors do the work for you by using Template:Request edit, I didn't do the work for you, in my view it comes under Wikipedia:You don't need to cite that the sky is blue.
If I see a statement that I believe is false or the editors opinion, then I'm in the habit of letting the "citation needed" sit on the article. After a month, I return and either find a citation myself or delete the statement from the article.
