Style

Wikipedia is written according to its Manual of Style. This is a complex document which no one memorises fully, but a few key points are:

• MOS:PIPESTYLE: linking part of a word such as [[apple]]s works and is recommended; please don't "fix" such usage;
• MOS:HEAD: we use a set format with a logical number of = signs in section headings;
• MOS:OVERLINK: we don't link everyday words understood by most readers.
