[edit]Stop reinserting your information, Suada Dilberović and Olga Sučić are overwhelmingly considered the first victims of the war. PRODUCER (talk) 15:28, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- LoL that is Milosevic's opinion. PRODUCER (talk) 15:41, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- What witness? he avoids addressing whether he was the first casualty. The first casualty "controversy" is explained at the Bosnian war article, there's no need for your "contrary to popular belief" nonsense. PRODUCER (talk) 15:52, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- It's a question of validity some consider Suada and Olga the first victims and some consider Nikola the first victim, stop pushing you "contrary to popular belief" nonsense. PRODUCER (talk) 16:36, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not going to reiterate myself, I've changed the lead text to read "who is considered". PRODUCER (talk) 16:50, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

WP:FILMS Welcome
[edit]Hey, welcome to WikiProject Films! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of films, awards, festivals, filmmaking, and film characters. If you haven't already, please add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your user page.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Most of our important discussions about the project itself and its related articles take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has a monthly newsletter. The newsletter for June has been published. July's issue is currently in production; it will be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There is a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Want to jump right into editing? The style guidelines show things you should include.
- Want to assist in some current backlogs within the project? Visit the Announcements template to see how you can help.
- Want to know how good our articles are? Our assessment department has rated the quality of every film article in Wikipedia. Check it out!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talk • contrib) 22:34, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey! I just saw your comments on File talk:Massimo Vignelli.jpg, but I wanted to respond to you here, because myself or another admin will probably delete the file and talk page in a minute. Wikipedia and Commons can only host things that are CC-BY or CC-BY-SA. NC means "non-commercial", which is not acceptable use for Wikipedia. You can see a little chart at WP:Upload/Flickr, to aid you in the future. Killiondude (talk) 06:48, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use Image:Dumas (Musician).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Dumas (Musician).jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.40.120 (talk) 04:03, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file, please understand that the vast majority of images found on the internet are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Most content on the internet is copyrighted and the creator of the image has exclusive rights to use it. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others - do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. In certain limited cases, we may be able to use an image under a claim of fair use - if you are certain that fair use would apply here, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. 72.88.40.120 (talk) 04:03, 17 August 2009 (UTC)WikiProject Films August 2009 Newsletter

[edit]Admin Help
[edit]{{adminhelp}}
Hello, I would like an admin to see the pages Jajce and Alija Izetbegovic and judge whether the sourced information that was removed by user Rochass is justified.
On the Jajce article, he removed a cited statement about a church being destroyed even though it is cited and there is even a picture of the demolished church. He claims it is irrelevant information while it is very much relevant: there is a paragraph on the Bosnian War and this very much falls into that category.
As for the Izetbegovic article, he: 1) removed historical information (the original birth country), 2) changed "Bosnian mujahideen" for "Arab Volunteers" when there is already an article on the former, 3) removed two "citation needed" notices, 4) removed a quote by Richard Holbrooke, US Envoy, about the issue of the aforementionned Bosnian mujahideen, 5) Added "Serb Nationalists" as those who petitioned the ICTY to indict Izetbegovic so as to make it seem unjustified when in reality he died before the investigation ended.
I have tried to discuss these issues on his talk page but he does not wish to participate in a dialogue and simply reverts my edits. I don't wish to get into a full fledged edit war and that is why I would like an administrator to take a look at the issue. Thank you in advance for your help! :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
