Woah there!

[edit]

Hi Paolocmartin,

I've dropped a note on JenOttawa's talk page about your contributions. You can find that here.

Cheers,

Thanks for the heads-up @Alfie:. As you called it I'm a new Wikipedia user, so my apologies for blundering my way into wrong places. I've been working out of my Sandbox and I didn't quite realize that I was creating new pages when I was tinkering with a template I want to use. I've deleted the content in the modules I created and will work to make sure I don't inadvertently create pages in the wrong locations by writing drafts of pages offline and by working more closely with JenOttawa. Thanks again! -paolo Paolocmartin (talk) 22:36, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Paolocmartin: No worries, you knocked it out of the park with that responseย :) You can create as many pages as you want under your own "User" space by editing the URL. Here's one: User:Paolocmartin/sandbox2, and then they can be moved into place once you're happy with them. Feel free to get in touch if you need some help with doing that - I can also help you move the pages you inadvertently created into your User space - let me know! @Alfie: I appreciate the tips and the offer for help! I think I'm beginning to understand how the Wikipedia URLs work now, so I'll make sure that drafts of pages that I create start off in my personal space. I think I just learned how to move content from that pages I inadvertently created, but I'll let you know if I need more help. Is there anything I need to do make sure I don't get blocked from Wikipedia, or is my fate sealed?Paolocmartin (talk) 23:12, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We don't block people for honest mistakes, don't worry! Keep communicating well and you'll be totally fine. -- a they/them | argue | contribs 23:14, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Credibility bot

[edit]

I am contacting you because you previously set up a WikiProject using {{Load WikiProject Modules}}. I am working on a new project to make it easier to set up WikiProjects with built-in bot reports. As a proof of concept, see Wikipedia:Vaccine safety/Sources. If this is something you might find useful, your support at User:Credibility bot would be appreciated. Thank you.
