Linoleic acid
[edit]Hi there,
I see that you have added a reference to an article in the Townsend Letter to the linoleic acid page. I took it out, because I could not see what the relevance was to the article: You were not using the reference to support any particular fact in the article. If it's a particularly useful reference, you might consider adding it, with a link to the full text, under a new "external links" section. --Slashme 08:41, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Can you help to insert correctly the reference since is very important for cancer prevention and treatment using lineic acid and relevant acids. thanking you in advance. Panos Greece --Panos AGR 09:18, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi Panos, A quick search on Google Scholar shows that there are some publications on anticarcinogenic effects of linoleic acid. I would suggest that you read up a bit on the topic, and add some information into the body of the linoleic acid article, which you can support with citations. After you have submitted your text, if you need any help with proofreading, or if you need help formatting the citations, please ask on my talk page. --Slashme 09:43, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
I had a look at the article, and it's not very scientifically correct. It selectively cites research, and proposes a very shaky hypothesis. I will add comments to the article talk page; please continue the discussion there, so that we can involve the other editors of the article. --Slashme 09:48, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
