Feedback request
[edit]I got your message. Is there anything I can help you with? Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:43, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
Hello Ian,
We are so far late in finding the sufficient information on our article can you please suggest us how far we can make changes based upon the improvements to be made on article in our sandbox.
- Since the lead is supposed to summarize the contents of the article, and the article doesn't discuss IoT, it wouldn't be appropriate to add a sentence about it to the lead. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:16, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
Feedback
[edit]- Every statement in an article must be clearly connected to a supporting reference. That reference needs to be after the text it supports, not before. While several consecutive sentence can be supported by a single reference, there shouldn't be any text after the final reference in a paragraph.
- You need to copyedit your work carefully. The first sentence doesn't start with a capital letter, and there are lots of little problems like that. There are some grammar issues like
. There's a random ">" in the text.'There are many following opportunities which can also be easily exploited by a "shoulder surfer"'
- Make sure your formatting follows what's described in the Editing Wikipedia brochure (linked above). Only the article title is supposed to be bolded. References are supposed to be placed after punctuation, not before.
- Wikipedia articles aren't supposed to give advice or provide step-by-step instructions.
- You should link terms that the average reader might not be familiar with. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:37, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Additional feedback
[edit]If you're going to ask for my feedback, please have the courtesy to implement the previous feedback I gave you.
- Not done Most of your work is unsourced.
- Not done You didn't even fix the two examples I gave you, far less do a careful copy edit.
- Incomplete
- Not done In fact, you made it worse

I don't know what to say here. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:54, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
