Hello Charlie! Don't add too much NPOV to articles!

Map of the CAF

[edit]

Hi there, I was interested to see the map of the Central African Federation that you added to Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. Good work! Two things.

  1. Could you please point me to where you got it on Commons, as I can't find it for the life of me!
  2. And did you know, you don't have to upload pics from Commons to Wikipedia? A Commons file can be used in any Wikipedia and all the other projects (eg Wiktionary) directly from Commons. Just type the usual [[Image:blah blah]] stuff, and the pic will be called from Commons.

Cheers, Jacky

Oh well done! Cheers, JackyR | Talk 17:33, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SEATO map

[edit]

The SEATO map incorrectly labels Myanmar as a member instead of Thailand. If you still have the original file, could you apply the correction and re-upload a new version? Thanks.—Perceval 23:09, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you use a catalyst for the reaction? I'm assuming Iron (III) or Iron (II) would work (the mechanism for Iron (III) is less complex to explain). I'm just wondering what kind of molarity of Iron (III) i should explain in the article to give it a whirl with.--I'll bring the food (Talk - Contribs - My Watchlist) 14:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you could try Category:Wikipedians from Essex and also place notices e.g. at Wikipedia:WikiProject England. Simply south (talk) 19:41, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You maybe interested in the Article Rescue Squadron

[edit]
Hello, Paj.meister. Based on the templates on your talk page, I would like you to consider joining the Article Rescue Squadron. Rescue Squadron members are focused on rescuing articles for deletion, that might otherwise be lost forever. I think you will find our project matches your vision of Wikipedia. Notice

The file File:Seato2.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused PNG, superseded by File:Map of SEATO member countries - en.svg

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. mattbr 08:02, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
