Request for adminship

[edit]

Hi Paineite - I noticed that you recently created the page Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Kenneth W. Burchell, which appears to be your self-nomination for adminship. I thought it would only be fair to inform you that the RfA will likely not succeed. Successful RfA candidates generally have at least 2,000 edits, with a good deal of experience in various areas of Wikipedia.

If you wish to continue by adding your request to the WP:RFA page, don't be discouraged if multiple people oppose you, okay? :) I've seen a lot of RfAs before, and most people will simply want you to have more experience on Wikipedia before supporting. You can run the request for adminship if you want, sure, but I just wanted to forewarn you that it won't be successful. Best wishes, JamieS93 20:48, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HI Jamie -- thanks for your kind note. Paineite (talk) 21:15, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paineite. I noticed you created an RfA page some time ago. I was wondering as to what the status of that RfA might be. Please let me know if you still intend to run for adminship with that RfA; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete it for you in about a week or so from today.
