Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gordon Edwards (scientist) (2nd nomination). Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! Thank you for the comment. I believe my language was completely respectful, civil and direct. If someone did not find them respectful, it's because I am raising a very serious concern - the possibility of other editors operating out of bias, leading to what might appear to verge on harassment. I will be following up by email as instructed in the help pages. PaceVerde (talk) 17:11, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:ASPERSIONS. It flies in the face of civility requirements when you accuse people of misconduct without providing evidence. ― "Ghost of Dan Gurney" (talk)  23:12, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And by the way, thank you very much for YOUR respectful and civil contributions to the deletion discussion. I think this can be easily sorted out by adding additional sources. It's just that we're not familiar with Wikipedia's processes. And we do constantly face pressure from the nuclear industry trying to silence its critics. PaceVerde, I would also appreciate if you at once stopped making personal attacks about my (or anyone else's) "familiarity" with the media of the country I was born and have lived my whole life in. ― "Ghost of Dan Gurney" (talk)  16:02, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting citations

[edit]

Hello. You should consider using templates to format your references. Please see below for some standard templates

Each of those links above will provide an explanation as to how and when to apply them, but News is used for newspaper articles, Journal is used for scholarly journal articles but can also be used for magazines and trade publications, Book is for books and Web can be used for anything available online (whitepapers, websites, stuff like that). Using these templates allows for bots to automatically fix formatting and add archive links if a live link becomes unavailable. It also helps with general consistency. WP:RS will also be helpful in general. Many thanks for reading our documentation and trying to improve the references. Iggy pop goes the weasel (talk) 14:31, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
