Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, PRTYguestS. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page W.E. Noffke, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jerod Lycett (talk) 10:00, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:List of Werner Ernst Noffke works, from its old location at User:PRTYguestS/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. - RichT|C|E-Mail 19:38, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Have any photos?

[edit]

Thanks for your contribution of the article List of works by W.E. Noffke. One additional way that you could contribute to the public's understanding of W.E. Noffke is to donate photos (to which you own the copyright) of W.E. Noffke and/or his works. I imagine that the architectural firm may own the copyright to a variety of valuable historic photos. You can do this by uploading images directly at http://commons.wikimedia.org (though you should have your account confirmed so that there is no doubt over the copyright ownership of the images later) or you can use this release generator to help with the uploads. The latter might be easier at least to start, and if you want, you can include in your email questions about how to get your account verified so that you can handle the uploads yourself in the future. Thank you so much for the assistance Calliopejen1 , I will definitely look into those ideas for uploading the photos. It would help the articles greatly. PRTYguestS (talk) 19:38, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
