Response for enquiry regarding Greys Ferry Station

I had been scouring old maps of the Philadelphia area at http://www.philageohistory.org and inserting information in to the templates as found -- I have no specific information on most of them. Some info can come from online sources such as the Library of Congress' newspaper database at http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/ is a good one -- for Philadelphia, the best source there would be The Evening Public Ledger. Temple University's Paley Library's Urban Archives has much of the PRR's archive so some heavy duty research might be done there.

Unfortunately, I am in Sydney and can't investigate much from Down Under. talk

I didn't ignore your comments on Talk:Andrea R. Wood, I just didn't see them till a few minutes ago. You should have commented on my talk page, as the talk page of a stub article doesn't get much traffic. I restored section headers, as I feel even a short stub should be properly formatted, with lead and body, to facilitate the eventual expansion of the article. I noted that another editor has again restored the section headers. Igor I. Sikorsky Memorial Bridge

Your recent edit to re-work the article has removed the reason the bridge is named after aviation pioneer Igor I. Sikorsky. If the bridge was named after the company, which is still operating there, as you state, wouldn't it be called the Sikorsky Aircraft Bridge? Why is it called the Igor I. Sikorsky Memorial Bridge? Tomticker5, the reason this particular bridge is named after Mr. Sikorsky is because, as the article says, "The bridge came to be known as the Sikorsky Bridge after the Sikorsky Aircraft headquarters just to its north." The article goes on to say that in 2006 the state moved to formally attach Sikorsky's name to the bridge, and anyone who wants to know more about his life and work can follow the link in the article's final sentence. Problem at Nancy Miracle

We've got a problem at the article Nancy Miracle. I've just discovered the IP who's been adding content (that's been reverted repeatedly) is actually Nancy Miracle herself. Not really sure where to go with this from here. I've placed a COI tag on the article and left comments to the editor on the article talk page that addressed the situation as best I knew how, but really don't know if it was enough or even the best way to handle it. Content source - Crains Cleveland Business or other entities and how to determine when sponsor designation appropriate

Hi. I've been searching for answer. We sponsor a webcam overlooking the West Side Market. Permission for use of our webcam is given free, at no cost or charge, provided camera is attributed to us - the sponsor and entity paying for the cam. When does something qualify to be named after their sponsor? Crains Cleveland Business has web page right above our webcam link. Why can't we have a link called "InsureCLE's West Side Market" webcam, or other attribution to our sponsorship? Why do editors feel Crains - a private company - or any other company or private entity - qualify to be designated on Wiki... but others not??? Please excuse me, intimately familiar with Wikipedia. Two points: a) A closer look at the page's revision history will show that I'm not the one reverting your edits. (Here's my only recent edit.) And b) You're the international expert on Mr. Bayard? Excellent. I suspect you're also new to editing Wikipedia, so perhaps it would be useful for me to explain how to properly cite one's edits so they don't get rolled back. The coin of the realm on Wikipedia is citing reliable sources. Here's how to do it: type your new text, then create a citation by typing <ref>NAME, DATE, AUTHOR, URL, ETC. OF YOUR SOURCE</ref>. When you save your edit, a new note will appear in the Notes section at the bottom. I know it's less than fully obvious how to play with others here. But one more piece of advice: rather than making uncited edits and then asking other editors not to revert them (a rather classic case of Argument from authority), take your argument to the article's Talk page and hash it out there. Chester Creek Branch: Station list

Hi, DanTD. Quick thought: Chester Creek Branch and Chester Creek Railroad seem to be pretty duplicative. What about combining the two? You may be right. Still, my argument for making the article "Chester Creek Railroad" is that it makes more sense to make articles about whole things, not parts of things, even when those whole things later become parts of things. This seems to be the way of many Wikipedia articles; for example, banks (there are many articles about banks that were later merged into other banks). The same seems to generally apply to railroads, including the many articles about fallen flags. What's your argument for making the article "Chester Creek Branch"? Aside from being better known as a separate Pennsylvania Railroad Branch, and it's original ownership by the Philadelphia and Baltimore Central Railroad, not too much. I could also point out several subsidiaries that were actually parts of the Long Island Rail Road, which only existed for segments of existing branches, such as the Hicksville and Cold Spring Branch Railroad and Smithtown and Port Jefferson Railroad which became part of the Port Jefferson Branch, or the Great Neck and Port Washington Railroad, which extended the acquired Flushing and North Side Railroad from Great Neck, New York to Port Washington, New York, and completed the Port Washington Branch. I'm not going to bother working on articles of the H&CSB, S&PJ, GN&PW, or any of those other companies any time soon. Mind you, I'm not going to fight tooth and nail to make the railroad article the redirect.
