Fixing caps
You mentioned "In more than one such to me seemingly self-obvious request, opposition has occured." This is true! Yet the overwhelming evidence from the ensuing discussions is still that fixing caps per policy and guidelines is not controversial. Sadly, within any specialist area there are sometimes a few people who don't like to follow WP's guidelines and will object to any obviously uncontroversial move and make them go to discussion. Still working on some of those... Dicklyon (talk) 17:01, 7 July 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Mahouts
A tag has been placed on Category:Mahouts requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Asking for help at Portal Catholicism, Patron saint archive
Greetings PPEMES, Seeing your interest in Catholicism here on Wikipedia, I'm asking for your help updating the Patron saint archive here. There are 365 articles, so at Portal:Catholicism, right column, Feast Day of shows one of these articles each day. Recently I removed all the red-links by posting a minimal place-holder content. Next I'm now updating (started at July 13) articles with a pre-defined template here.
Some articles already have content and just need the template added.
{{Portal:Catholicism/Patron/Layout <!-- Template for Portal, Catholicism, Patron Archive -->
|image=<!-- Link to image goes here -->
|size=<!-- Leave blank, default (blank) is good -->
|caption= <!-- Caption (optional) for image goes here -->
|text=<!-- Begin article content here -->
|link= <!-- Wikilink to saint article goes here -->
|Attributes= <!-- Attributes go here -->
|Patronage=<!-- Patronage goes here -->
}}
Sorry for above "hack" to get empty shell to display.
For other articles, content from the saint's article can be copy-and-paste to the archive article (a condensed version). Currently, I'm updating August articles. If you could start updating at September, or your "favorite month" that would be great! Thanks, JoeHebda (talk) 15:37, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
- Greetings! Sorry, my participation on internal affairs of that portal is next to nothing. I'll better see you around the article realm instead. PPEMES (talk) 16:36, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
