Rich Hickey
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, PL Przemek, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Rich Hickey, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.
There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
- Starting an article
- Your first article
- Biographies of living persons
- How to write a great article
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Help pages
- Tutorial
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! NBeale (talk) 10:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
The article Rich Hickey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no RS for notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NBeale (talk) 10:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Open Proxy Block
[edit]Unfairly blocked by OpenProxy. On Polish Wikipedia I have global-ipblock-exempt. I'm also an reviewer there, so I think it's safe to unblock me.

Block message:
The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open proxy. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you believe you are not running an open proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer from your ISP who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. If this is the case, please request to be unblocked using the {{unblock}} template, or request administrator attention using {{admin!}} and indicate you are caught by an open proxy block. More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). In some cases, this can be remedied by logging into the secure server. For more information, see the Wikiproject on Open Proxies and Wikipedia:Open proxies.
Accept reason: Verified you have global IP block exemption at http://toolserver.org/~quentinv57/sulinfo/PL+Przemek so I have granted IP block exemption on en-Wiki. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:41, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
Before you jump in at the deep end to insert someone's name, it would be wise to check the talk page for the lengthy discussion on whether it should be included in the first place. You will find that there is no consensus, and that our WP:BLP policy therefore defaults to not including it. Drmies (talk) 15:55, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
