Welcome!
[edit]Hmm, not sure I would have called your contribution to the Benjamin Britten article "vandalism" myself, though I can see why you got that reaction. You were making a serious point, but unfortunately the article text itself wasn't the place to put it, which is why it was removed and you were given the above warning. It would have been better as a comment on the "talk" page of the article and if you repost it there, it may lead to some further discussion or improvements someone has now moved it there for you! And if there are improvements you want to make to the article anyway, go ahead and make them!

- I shifted the comments you made over from the the article about Benjamin Britten to the talk page for that article, which is at Talk:Benjamin Britten. Wikipedia uses Talk_pages to contain the meta-discussions about the articles, so that the discussions don't distract from the content of the article. Commentary added in article is disruptive, but generally not a huge issue if done in good faith. We of course welcome any contributions you could make in improving the articles here on Wikipedia, bearing in mind our rules concerning No original research and Reliable sources, which your comment leads me to believe you're already aware of. - Fordan (talk) 21:25, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
