I have done some work on the references at Draft:Michael Lennick, but there's a more basic problem: Only one of them, the Ottawa Citizen, is a reliable, independent source. The others were, in order:
- His own book, not an independent source about Lennick
- IMDb, not subject to any meaningful editorial control and not considered reliable
- Wikipedia does not consider itself reliable; I've turned that one into a link to the relevant article for our reader's convenience, but Wikipedia should never be used as a reference
- Wikipedia again, this time an article whose relevance I couldn't quite see
- IMDb again
- A company Lennick works for, not an independent source
- Lennick's own company, clearly also not independent
Especially for claims such as "award-winning" we would need reliable third-party coverage such as newspaper articles about Lennick. In its current state the draft's sources do not suffice and do not establish that Lennick meets the notability criteria. Huon (talk) 19:52, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, OwenLars66. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Michael Lennick".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}

code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Michael Lennick}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 08:01, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
