Lycos search results
[edit]Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Lycos has been showing no search results for months, try searching and see for yourself. I had to undo your edit on Lycos. AlexBern73 (talk) 19:44, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, we have updated the page to reflect current Lycos results by geo-location (still working in the US). Overzwotan (talk) 18:58, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
Stalker
[edit]So Mr. Overzwotan, you became my stalker. You should realize that the previous statement "school reform was discontinued in 1864" (which means, it only lasted four years) and then it stopped, is very very unlikely -- it may have been less financed, but you cannot start building schools in the whole country and then ... leave them. So it is THAT statement which lacked acceptable sources, and I just acted BECAUSE there were no sources. You see, dear Mr. Overzwotan, Wiki is not a place where the state you find a page in is GUARANTEED to be in order. So when somebody corrects something which was not in order, before aggressively removing the correction, it is your duty to verify WHY the change was made, and MOST OF ALL, if there were sources PREVIOUSLY, in support of what was being said. You make your life to easy by simply cutting and hiding behind claims you do not verify, once again, it becomes a pattern. So please have the decency to bring my correction back up. Of course, unless you do a serious study of Romanian history sources, trying to find one before communist rewriting of history, that would make that overstatement of "discontinued". Unless you can provide a serious proof of that -- and it is YOU who must do that, because unluckily, who wrote that statement has not -- you have no base for removing my correction, and must therefore bring it back. Thank you.

The Stalker hits again
Mr. Ober, I removed an unproven and phatasist statement from the biography of A.I. Cuza. I removed it because it is an unproved alegation. And you, knowing as much of Romanian history as I know about Mexican history, or even less -- simply retracted with the remark "no sources". Hey, Oberwotan, the statement had no source to START with, this is why it was removed. Do I have to go again to complain to your boss, or will you this time be so kind and give up this absurd intervention against me?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by PredaMi (talk • contribs) 10:55, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
the english Biography of P. Mihailescu
[edit]Every book on the subject, and two are in the bibliography of the same page, teaches you lies. Why do you not make a minimal search before publishin public insult to my address (the intention of self-promotion is an insult which you spread in public). I expect correcting action. Just in case, here are again links to three books where you can verify you allegations to be false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PredaMi (talk • contribs) 16:57, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Hello PredaMi, thanks for your message. I might recommend that you sign your name on talk pages using four tildes as this makes it easier to track. As you'll notice, I actually was in support of keeping your page as it seems you do pass WP:ACADEMIC, but this does not mean we can have unsubstantiated claims. The Wikipedia process is very rigorous. We can definitely keep facts, let's just try to prove them. I would recommend providing proof that the theorem is called "Mihailescu's Theorem" on the article's talk page. If you can show perhaps scanned pages of these documents that would make it easier since I'm not sure these books are available to read online. Thank you! - Mr. Overzwotan -- rather then recommending things, you should do your homework. Who do you think you are, to ask for proof, when the proof is in the very books in the literature, you should only make the effort to read. Just for your information: I do not write my biography, other people did, in many languages. And they provided already all it is needed to verify whatever bothers you. Atroll has destroyed it, in English only -- now if you are a serious person, the first thing you do is google for "Mihailescu theorem" and some variants, and you would get a multitude of links, including one in Tijedeman's Theorem, also on Wiki. So the evidence shows that you block the page, write an insult about me on the talk page, and just run, do no effort to clarify what you pretended to clarify. I do not believe this is proper Wiki work, so please get serious. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PredaMi (talk • contribs) 23:40, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Mr. Overz -- I signal you that you are on the bad track of having removed from Wikipedia a reference to my work, in a subject in which you have zero experience and expertease, and to the only recognizable purpose, to hide your error made by participating in the difamation on my biography page. Please understand that this is not children game, and the action you and AtlanticX and SkirtY took on my biography talk page is not innocent, your (common) insinuations which were not backed up by any minimal research on your part, condemn all of you. But you most of all condemned yourself, when you removed information from a page on Tijdemann's Theorem, about which you have no competence whatsoever. Here is your trace, curprev 23:05, 19 January 2020 Overzwotan talk contribs 4,285 bytes +13 undothank, and it was left just minutes after I signaled you that you have there on the Tijdeman page, a proof that your alegiations were false, even in Wiki. Is this your understanding of honnesty, when you are shown wrong, to try to destroy the evidence? In Europe, this is a legal issue, and the campus lawyers will not like these ways. You will not be able to remove the evidence from books, you should be aware of this, Mr. whatever you real life name is! For instance such books: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1z9iMojc9QUKhE3XPUUHBzbkZukNwB5m5. Your abuses tend to cumulate and you should be warned that you do not only offend a person, but also a venerable institution -- so you should be really asking yourself, why you do it! And use efficiently the two days of time that Mr. Hockett, ar really friendly person, who does not hide behind a strange nick, bought you. Use the time to bring everything in order, the way it was and should be, and get the others two to help you and back you up, it will best for all involved! Thank you! - Hello, this seems like a thinly veiled threat. I am merely a volunteer who cleans up citations and grammar errors as I run across them. I did not remove ANYTHING from the page, I merely added a "request for citation". Please remember that WP editors and contributors are here to help, but your uncivil comments are not helping your case. Thank you. Overzwotan (talk) 18:57, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
