Shango shrine in Ibadan[edit]Hi Outlaw10. I see that your topic is the Shango shrine in Ibadan, Nigeria. You might try creating a new article for the shrine. Being unfamiliar with most of the Orisha, I was confused at first as to whether Shango was a historical or mythical figure. Some of your assertions about the deeds and motivations of Shango and his followers are stated as plain fact, but should probably be phrased conditionally by adding modifiers like "According to tradition...", "Shango's followers believe that...", "Oral history relates that..." or something similar. If you have another reference besides Warren & Wolff, it would help establish that the shrine meets Wikipedia notability guidelines. Gobōnobo + c 20:55, 17 October 2012 (UTC) |
