- Drmies, Hi, thanks for letting me know the deletion of context. I've added back a few paragraphs that have direct book references or antiques to prove the information. I'll search for more reliable sources for the leftover deleted edits. The history of Chinese New Year is long since China's history is long, and throughout history of its development new customs were added and old customs were discarded. I wish the wiki page can show people how Chinese New Year evolved by ancient Chinese people's own originality. I'll keep on adding details of its development. Thank you again.Ouatssss--23 (talk) 06:37, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Content, not context. And I reverted you again, for a number of reasons--one is simply the grammatical English errors. Another is, still, that this additional information lacks proper secondary sourcing. Now, you are a new editor, and perhaps you are not so familiar with what we do, but it's important that you learn that we do not include every bit of possible information, and that content should be based on reliable, independent, secondary sourcing. In other words, an editor's opinion on what is important and what isn't should be determined by secondary sources. Finally, please see WP:NPOV, which disallows edit summaries like this one. - Drmies, I've added back the deleted content with secondary sourcing. And as for this one, it involves politic topics for sure. However, Hong Kong Macau Mainland China Taiwan are all regions of China. The first three regions are administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, a fact respected by international society and acknowledge by wikipedia. As for Taiwan, its official name is Republic of China, and countries all over the world honor the One China policy. Even recently, U.S. State Department says U.S. "one-China" policy has not changed.[1] The country has not been unified yet, but neither has Taiwan administrations declared independent. So it's improper to only write "countries" in that sentence.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rice cake, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tangyuan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

- Hi @Firestar464:. The India ink#History clearly stated that the ink was invented in China, however mistakenly given the name india ink by English people in 16th century. Would that be sufficient? Best regards. Ouatssss--23 (talk) 03:07, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

- @Firestar464: Thank you!~ Ouatssss--23 (talk) 03:13, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- The WP:COMMONNAME in English is "India ink" - that is what matters, whether or not you think the name a "mistake". Johnbod (talk) 03:53, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- That sux. I guess this ain't the place to WP:RGW. Firestar464 (talk) 03:59, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Johnbod: ... Okay then... Hate when things invented by China are called under another country's name. Ouatssss--23 (talk) 04:07, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

- @Spudlace: Can you please see through my edit? I was copy editing the redundant wording. Best regard. Ouatssss--23 (talk) 04:25, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
Ok, better get on with that, or I will revert the lot. All that stuff about pigments belongs much lower down the page, if anywhere. Johnbod (talk) 03:51, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Johnbod: The section is about the explaining the alternate name danqing of Chinese paintng, not about pigments, which from my point of view is important enough to be put at front. And I will copy edit the section as quickly as i can.Ouatssss--23 (talk) 03:57, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
