Massachussetts?
Your front page user page says Mass (in a (User template). I guess you'd want to change this to Fla-- I imagine just a copy-paste error. Would do it myself but not the done thing to change other's user pages. SimonTrew ([[User
talk:SimonTrew|talk]]) 19:52, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
BTW I may have been a bit too sensitive about your change to my addition to a talk page. It was no big deal really. I see from your User Contributions history that most of your automated edits go through OK and are beneficial. However, this tool specifically should *not* be used for User pages or Talk pages since they have different standards of editorship than articles themselves. Presumably there is an option in the tool (huggle) do disable that? So I apologise for being a bit huffy, though I was in the right. The fix was, actually, correct, so I let it stand, but it is annoying to many editors when their contributions are immediately jumped on before they've even had time to sub-edit themselves.
Many editors think (and I am one of them) you just cannot get it right first time, when you are concentrating on the big issues however carefully you check you will miss some tiny thing. Personally I prefer to watch and edit manually since often errors of spelling etc hide deeper structural problems, and can be masked if a bot comes along and just clears them up.
Best wishes SimonTrew (talk) 20:03, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Re yours. No worries. I think the tool does have a lot of benefits, I randomly was hitting on pages you've cleaned up and most of the time it is fine. But I do worry that it masks more structural errors (especially from contributors whose first language is not English, often very constructive additions but need a bit of tidying up) and also maybe dialect variations of spelling, depending on how good the spelling checker is. I might download it myself and have a look, though I doubt I would want to use it-- first no point only really needs one or two people to have it running, and second I prefer to look at changes. But for obvious vandalism and spelling errors it seems pretty good on the whole. SimonTrew (talk) 21:07, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Hang-on!
Hey Otisjimmy1,
Sorry about that. Sandbox6B is just a sandbox. I realized why you want to delete it after getting your speedy-delete message: The damn thing has an article-like webaddress. I've noticed (by way of userbox's actual webaddress) that they often follow a format something like this:
- wikipedia.org/wiki/User:(Whomever)/userbox/(whatever user box)
With my particular system (WebTV) the only way for me to create any new page is by creating a redlink. That is to say, I cannot simply go to an unmade page using the format above. If I try, WebTV pops up a message reading "The page does not exist", or some such. Unfortunately there seems to be no way for me to create a page that has an address in that format -- unless you can tell me how (?).
I think I know how to fix this particular instance of this webaddress problem, but I'll wait for your response first. You can respond here or on my talk, I'll watch for both.
Thanks for your understanding, Hamamelis (talk) 23:47, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 18:55, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Edit Summary.
That really wasn't necessary. I try to add edit summaries, but all I did was at the {{Reflist}} tag to the article. Please use warnings correctly. If you are interested in my edit marked as a minor edit, you can look at the page history. Please do not abuse the warnings; they are not to be used lightly.--gordonrox24 (talk) 02:00, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

I think you have made a mistake... I've never been on that page before!
Clearly...
G'day! I just created the dab article 2020 Vision./ I noticed you placed an "unreferenced" tag on it. Just as an fyi, I've removed it, but put the dab tag on there, because it seems I forgot it before. It's a bit of an elongated lead for a dab article, but that's due to the intricacy of the subject matter. If you have any probs (or any to add), go for it or let me know. Speedy deletion request
Don't be silly, please. It's this kind of overeager speedy deletion tagging that perpetuates systemic bias. Gabriel Guerra was a distinguished nineteenth century Mexican sculptor. If this is what happens after 55 DYKs and 46,000 edits, one shudders to think what less experienced editors face. Please give people a fair chance to create articles without disruption. the third God
I notice you placed an unreferenced tag on the stub article I just created 'the third god'. I seem to remember discussing this issue once on the relevant policy pages, where the consensus was that that placing tags about lack of referencing on stub articles was inappropriate, for the obvious reason that such articles are wholly lacking in just about everything. Perhaps you would care to remove it?

Hello Otisjimmy1, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. Re:Molly Walsh
I was going to tag it as G3, but a Google search turned up several hits for "Molly Walsh" with terms which would have indicated some notability in professions in which "big tits" would be helpful. I translated a couple of the more promising one from Japanese, but got nothing, so I was going to come back and retag it as G3 or G10, but it was already deleted.
