[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Adel P. Boulad, from its old location at User:Osword3000/sandbox/Adel P. Boulad. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. I think it would be for the best
[edit]to work out the problems with the article as a draft before posting to article space. Of particular concern is the lack of sourcing. See my deletion notice below. Dlohcierekim 18:39, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Nabila Erian
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nabila Erian requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ɯɐɔ 💬 16:30, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Nmerian.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 18:45, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Please do not remove accessdates from references as these form an important part of the citation and help to avoid link rot. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 20:02, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Editors of wikipedia Eagleash, Fritz,
The photo in the Nabila Erian page is one photographed by me and as i was uploading it to wikicommons and attested to that. Previously, i had tried to upload the same photo to wiki and it failed that's where the confusion is comming from.
Now, regarding the notability of the lady: As mentioned in the Awards section, she did receive in 1964 a distinguished award from Presdident Abdel Nasser. I have photos of that event and newspaper clippings. As you know, the news at that time were not online so i don't have an electronic link.
Now, as for her role in the Egyptian music milieu: Nabila Erian is one of the leading Egyptian soprano singers. She is also among the founders of the Cairo conservatoire. We localy, don't publish biography dictionaries but i can provide scans of many newspaper clipping mentioning her very highly from the 60s onwards.
Thank you for your time and advice, Ola (osword3000)
I have moved your article at Adel Boulad back to the article space. The "Wikipedia:" namespace is meant for administrative pages, not articles, so please do not move it there. – Train2104 (t • c) 15:42, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Fair enough. Now, how can i get it published?
- It is "published" - try searching for Adel Boulad in the search box on the top of the page or on wikipedia.org! It won't show up on Google until it is patrolled, though. – Train2104 (t • c) 15:56, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Thanks. Ola
Would you kindly cite the sources listed in the article? I can help, but at least provide links to each source and remove the ones that aren't needed. If you have any questions, let me know. Cheers. Fitzcarmalan (talk) 19:56, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
- Regarding Speedy Deletion
- Hello, Osword3000. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
- I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.
- Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid or what Wikipedia is not.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.
- Sometimes articles are deleted because they contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content can be used as a source of information, but the content here must be completely rewritten from scratch.
- Some articles contain material written in a promotional tone. These must often be written from scratch. They are vigorously deleted.
- Any content that is negative in tone and unsourced or which is disparaging will also be vigorously deleted.
- Any deficiencies with notability, sourcing, or things to avoid should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
- For test edits, click Osword3000/sandbox
- If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.
- You may find this tool useful: Google custom search
If you have verifiable information from reliable sources that show subject does meet notability requirements Let me know.
CONTENT IN ARTICLES NEEDS TO BE RELIABLY SOURCED.
