[edit]Any editor has the right to nominate an article for deletion. Just as any editor can respond to that nomination. As for wasting people's time, anybody's time on Wikpedia is voluntary. And it seems that a very large proportion of your time on Wikipedia is spent on one topic, and I've participated in a few deletion discussions in my time in Wikipedia and have never seen an editor so vigorously defend an article in a deletion discussion, hence the perception of WP:OWN. I would encourage you to start editing a wider variety of Wikipedia articles. There seems to be more of a consensus for merging the article, whilst not the same as deletion, it would mean that the current law school article would not exist. Lastly, it is a Wikipedia principle that the onus for justifying inclusion of an article/any text is on the editor who wants it to stay there. It is not the responsibility of those challenging it.
