Sorry to bother you, but please note that the country you've added to the list of FATF members is not a member yet, although it was invited to be one. Once it is a member, you will be able to add it. Have a nice day, and all the best. HOOTmag (talk) 23:04, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Flag of Montgomeryshire

[edit]

Hi - I need your help. I've contributed loads to Welsh flags and things over the last fifteen years or so on Wikipedia and need your assistance with something if you have the time. You have done a fantastic job vectorizing the Gwynedd flag. Can you do something for the Powys flag too? I habe a non vector which is a bit blurry and needs some work but is fundamentally beautiful.

Here is a link:

Can you do something with this? Clearly it could be expanded to be a new design for Powys Fadog and Deheubarth too.

Aetheling1125 00:35, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

doesn't look like a job too hard to do.... i'll be completing it sometime in this weedend. --Oren neu dag (talk) 03:07, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much indeed... the flags it could be used for are:

  • Powys (colours as you have in the image I gave you - but the full blazon is Or, a lion rampant Gules, armed and langued Azur - so red lion on gold with blue claws and tongue).
  • Powys Fadog (Argent, a lion rampant Sable, armed and langued Gules - so black lion on white ('silver') with red tongue and claws.
  • Deheubarth (Gules, a lion rampant Or, armed and langued Azur, within a bordure engrailled Or - so a gold lion with blue tongues and claws on a red background with a golden engrailed border)

You are doing all Wales a service, sir! Aetheling1125 15:53, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Here is the done svg flag of Montgomeryshire: File:Flag of Montgomeryshire.svg, as for the other flags you requested, i'll see what i can do, but no promises. --Oren neu dag (talk) 22:30, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
P.S I replaced the original and amateurish flag of Powys Fadog with something that looks more professional => File:Flag of Powys Fadog.svg, I hope you like it. --Oren neu dag (talk) 22:42, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited National trauma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Disengagement Plan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Unsourced biographical information

[edit]

Please don't add unsourced biographical information, as you did in this edit. There are many sites on the internet that purport to tell celebrity birth dates, including the IMDb, but most of them are not reliable sources. The IMDb, for example, is user-generated content. Many others scrape their data from Wikipedia (circular sourcing) or the IMDb. We need sources that are written by professional journalists or academics, perform fact checking, and have a professional editorial board. One way to satisfy these requirements is to look for interviews in newspapers and magazines where a celebrity may talk about their date of birth. Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jacobitism, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Convention Parliament (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Dixiecrat flag

[edit]

Hey, I noticed your edit here on Dixiecrat. I've reverted it, because I'm not sure that the color is correct, compared to the flag already shown on the page. Is there a specific source for the color code of the flag that the Dixiecrats used? Thanks. -- Politicsfan4 (talk) 03:21, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For the purpose of creating the Confederate Flag i used the same color scheme as that of the Flag of the United States --Oren neu dag (talk) 14:43, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
