Guerilla Cricket
[edit]You were welcomed just yesterday and touched a hot topic already ;) - The infobox for Guerilla Cricket was deleted but partly restored, and then deleted again by another user. Did you see the word compromise in the discussion? If more discussion is needed, it is best on the article talk page, Talk:Guerilla Cricket. You may have seen that people disagree about infoboxes. Some love them, some hate them, I just find them useful. - Happy editing! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:27, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks Gerda - I thought your compromise was a good one, but then it's been deleted again since then. I'm just finding things a bit confusing and conflicting at the moment - I cribbed the Infobox from Test Match Sofa (since they were sibling stations), which is why I'm still confused about why it's OK to be on one page but not on another. I'm not going to make a big deal of it at all, though, I don't want to risk the page being deleted again!
- Thank you. It must be confusing. The main problem is that instead of serving readers, Wikipedia serves the writers, - the incentive for no payment I guess ;) - We could be so much more productive if we deleted only vandalism, but you may have seen that for some editors, an infobox equals vandalism. I haven't found a remedy in the four years since I noticed the conflict. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:39, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
