JPGordon declined my block appeal. I have no idea why I was blocked. As you can see from our past discussion from last month, I took the time to learn the Wikipedia process of contributing to pages. I was blocked just today because of my editing on the Russell Dickerson page. I edited his subgenre & unfortunately some moderator reversed it. All I did was edit the subgenre from Pop Country to "Boyfriend Pop Country". It's a subgenre like "Bro Country" or "neotraditional country". The moderators changed my edits without hearing me out. They probably aren't even fans of country music. I don't understand why I've been banished. It's a bit uncalled for. If this is what happens to users that edit pages, then geez... Once again, I was just changing the subgenre of Russell Dickerson. From "Pop Country" to "Boyfriend Pop Country". It's a subgenre of country music. Accounts cannot be deleted, for both technical and legal reasons. You may just abandon your account if you no longer wish to participate here. Whether one listens to country music or not is irrelevant, as we don't require editors to be experienced with the subjects of their edits. You don't really seem interested in anything other than making the same inappropriate edits(which weren't just changing genres), and since you think they were proper, there are no grounds to lift the block. My edits were not inappropriate. I fixed the album title and subgenre. I could have added a citation (I have with other edits on other pages) but the moderators didn't give me enough time. It appears that I will not be getting my account back at all. Fair game. My edits weren't completely inappropriate. I was just fixing the album title & subgenre. Anywho.... My IP address seems to be banished too. This IP address is not my home ip , thus others use it too. Will my actions prevent others from using Wikipedia?? Unfair if this affects others.
