Leave a Message to a Specific IP
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
Is it possible to a leave a temporary message in a page, to a specific IP? I'm editing a page and a guy without account started editing where I left, but his work doesn't follow the correct guidelines. I would like to leave a message to him, because I'll edit his changes.
- You can leave a message on their talk page (which you can get to by following the link provided in their contributions/signature). There is, of course, no guarantee that they'll see it. The other option would be to reply to them on the talk page of the article you are both editing, and then leave a {{talkback}} message on their talk page. This is the preferable method because it keeps the main discussion on the article talk. Primefac (talk) 16:54, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Thiago Monteiro formatting
[edit]Just some fyi stuff about charts and updating. Never update the performance chart until that player is out of the event. Always use closing quotes when bolding or italicizing, etc... otherwise soemone else has to come along and fix it. Use the guideline parameters for other charts as found at WikiProject Tennis Guidelines, again so others won't have to fix things later. Otherwise, happy editing.
