Greetings,
With respect to the tolerance of drug usage in Yellow Springs, my experience is evidently very different. A citation to support your position would be greatly appreciated. -- Rydra Wong 17:03, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- I respectfully suggest that when you provide a citation for drug tolerance in Yellow Springs it should be moved to section other than History. You are free to create a separate section to contain it perhaps titled "Village Culture" or something similar. -- Rydra Wong 17:14, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Citation does not mention public marijuana use in Yellow Springs
[edit]- The citation for the statement that marijuana is "smoked publicly on the streets of Yellow Springs" doesn't actually mention that anywhere. It primarily concerns a "Million Marijuana March along Columbus' High St and mentions Yellow Springs along with 160 other cities involved. The only reference to public drug usage in the entire article is to High St marchers who allegedly lit up during the protest. "According to WSU student Laura Skaggs people drove by honking at pro-pot signs and held bongs out their windows showing their approval." "A few people covered up with their signs and smoked during the march," said Skaggs." This in no way supports your continued assertion. Please cite this properly or remove it. -- Rydra Wong 16:20, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Redirects
[edit]Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Assburger syndrome. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. . Also for Assburger Syndrome -- Netsnipe ► 14:22, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- These redirects were not nonsense and certainly not vandalism. Considering the syndrome is often pronounced as "assburgers", it is reasonable to believe that some people would type in this spelling. This was a natural redirect. Omnivore Oprah 16:00, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've removed the DB tag. I think Netsnipe had good intentions, but the redirect is a real (if unfortunate) mispronunciation of the syndrome and is likely to be used by folks who have heard it phonetically and are searching for it to learn more. - CHAIRBOY (☎) 18:56, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Starting new redirect at Assburger syndrome. Omnivore Oprah 19:48, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- I do not agree and have put it up for RfD again. Simply south 20:01, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've never heard it pronounced assburgers. I find it is pronounced together as-sper-jes, very commonly. Simply south 20:10, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Socks
[edit]As you know, sock accounts may not be used to edit the same articles or otherwise skew the consensus. If you continue I'll have to start blocking some of them. -Will Beback · † · 16:10, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- What? Omnivore Oprah 16:13, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- He's talking about sockpuppets - most users are not allowed to have more than one account on Wikipedia without due authorisation first. If you have another account, he thinks you're using it to pretend to be a different person - something that's frowned upon. —Vanderdecken∴ ∫ξφ 17:52, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
