User talk:Omnipedia09
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Omnipedia09, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Easy Computer Sync, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia

- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Unforgettableid (talk) 21:04, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
easy computer sync
[edit]Unforgettableid, can you please tell my why you don't think Easy Computer Sync is notable? I cannot find any other programs that work with the easy transfer cable. Omnipedia09 (talk) 10:43, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
- Just because a program is the only one that works with the Easy Transfer Cable doesn't mean that it meets WP:NOTABILITY. See also WP:NSOFT. Unforgettableid (talk) 20:55, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Easy Computer Sync. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Easy Computer Sync, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Unforgettableid (talk) 16:37, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
Hello, Omnipedia09, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please remember to disclose these connections. Unforgettableid (talk) 19:54, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Unforgettableid. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Easy Computer Sync seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Unforgettableid (talk) 20:56, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of Mfcmaster (talk · contribs · global contribs · page moves · user creation · block log) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
