Capitalisation
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, in the article on Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, please can you stop changing the capitalisation. The capitalisation is already following Wikipedia's policy, please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters, thanks. -Lopifalko (talk) 14:39, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
Unblock request
[edit]Oluamyd (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I was blocked because my IP address is similar to that of another user 'Ladispeaks'. While I understand that my account was blocked because it was suspected to be a sockpuppet of Ladispeaks because we are in the same IP address range, I will like to appeal on the basis that I'm not Ladispeaka, nor do I know him/her or have had anything to do with the user in question. My main objective with editing and creating Wikipedia articles is to contribute to the WIkipedia community in a positive way. I don't have any other wikipedia account other than this one which I created in early 2018. Till date, I have edited two articles (Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, HiOS) and created one (XOS (mobile operating system)). While I have had some minor reviews made during my edits of these articles (usually regarding sources and formatting), This has helped me in learning and sticking with the accepted Wikipedia standards. My conduct either while using my account or logged out has never never been in disregard of Wikipedia policy nor has it been in connection to the user "Ladispeaks" or his actions in any way. I'm sure that if a comparison of the activities I've carried out on my account and whatever actions Ladispeaks had carried out, it would become clear both accounts are not related in any way. I guarantee that going forward, my behaviour will not be disruptive of the Wikipedia community in any way and I will continue to strictly adhere to the guidelines. Decline reason:
Sockpuppetry is very clear. Yamla (talk) 00:41, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- What is your relation to Tdurotoye?
— Berean Hunter (talk) 16:03, 30 July 2019 (UTC) - Just like Ladispeaks, I have no relationship with the user Tdurotoye other than seeing the username pop up in the block thread.Oluamyd (talk) 21:40, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Oluamyd (talk)
- Tdurotoye wrote Draft:Phoenix Browser which mentions the Shalltry Group. In that link, you can scan for:
- "Jul 18, 2019 XOS Launcher(2019)- Customized,Cool,Stylish"
- "Jul 18, 2019 HiOS Launcher(2019)- Fast, Smooth, Stabilize"
- Note that you wrote the XOS (mobile operating system) article on July 16, two days before that update, and began writing on July 12 about the HiOS (mobile operating system) using affiliatemarketing.com.ng links. Your writing certainly suggests an affiliation with the Shalltry group and Tdurotoye.

- Interesting that you used Scooper News when making this citation because that is the name of two of the sockpuppets blocked in this case.
