[edit]Since this is your only contribution, and since it is written in exactly the format of a press release, emphasizing the entirely non-notable commercial work which has not yet produced a clinical-stage product, it is reasonable to ask whether you are a connected contributor, in which case you must declare the connection. Please see our rules on Conflict of Interest If you are writing this for pay or as a staff member of the organization, see also WP:PAID for the necessary disclosures. If this does apply to you,. do not edit the article further yourself, but request edits on the article talk page. In particular, do not attempt to claim implied credit for products that have not yet been actually introduced. DGG ( talk ) 20:23, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

I noticed that Julie Bentley's page redirected to someone else from the Institute of Optics link. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Institute_of_Optics. I removed the incorrect link and generated a page for her in my sandbox - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Oliveandwatkins/sandbox. I was hoping someone might be able to help me move it for review and then link it to the Institute of Optics page. Oliveandwatkins (talk) 17:30, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Here is the thing--actually, there are two. The first is that that draft does not have a single reliable secondary sources, and its content is way too promotional/non-neutral. The second follows from that: you were asked years ago by DGG to address the conflict of interest they signaled as a real possibility. That is what you need to address first. Thank you. - After you've addressed the problems mentioned above, you will now find that there is a 'submit' button on your draft that you can use to submit it for review. Removing the incorrect Julie Bentley link from the institute's page was the correct action. Creating a draft is fine, but you need to pay close attention to the criteria for general notability WP:GNG and academic notability WP:NACADEMIC. Submitting your draft before you have established notability via one of these methods simply means it will be declined. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 18:45, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
