Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tourism in Namibia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lodge (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Feedback requested - Split proposal - 'Non-traffic warning signs/wet floor signs' from "Warning sign"

[edit]

Hello, I am reaching out to you as a recent-ish editor of the article Warning sign. Currently there is a Proposal to split 'non-traffic warning signs/wet floor signs' from the 'warning sign' article to a new article called Safety sign. It would be appreciated if you would look over the proposal at the Warning Sign talk page, and provided any feedback on the matter. Thank you.--The Navigators (talk)-May British Rail Rest in Peace. 21:58, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @The Animal Lover82: thanks for writing, I just asked an admin how, and if it is possible to block an IP address. Regards --Olga Ernst (talk) 14:28, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Good article. I am actually surprised that this has not been created. Regarding content, every specific aspect of the traditional farm stall has been touched.

Fuchsfarbenes Engadinerschaf

[edit]

Hi, Olga! I just wondered if by any miracle you might have a picture of a Fuchsfarbenes Engadinerschaf (Red Engadine)? There's none that I can find on Commons or elsewhere; I know that your nice Braunvieh picture was taken in a quite different part of Switzerland, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:04, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Justlettersandnumbers:, sorry for not being able to help, but maybe I can manage to get a photo of somebody else to upload on Commons ;-) Regards --Olga Ernst (talk) 19:55, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Justlettersandnumbers:, I got some pictures of the Red Engadine and also added Commonscat, Literature and External Links to the article. Regards --Olga Ernst (talk) 20:25, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Olga, I don't know how to thank you! The images are superb, and a big addition to a rather small page. Could I ask you to thank Christian Gazzarin on my behalf? I'm so grateful to you both! However ... for the images to be kept on Commons, I'm pretty sure that we (you?) will need to ask Christian to send permission for them to OTRS (since he didn't upload them himself). I think the simplest way to do that is using this tool (though I've never actually used it myself). Once permission has been sent, he should receive an automated reply with a long code number starting 2021. If you or he sends me that number I can make sure that the permission is noted on the file uploads. I'm sure he'll understand that this is for his protection and for no other reason. Again, thank you both! Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:50, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Justlettersandnumbers: for the encouraging words. I'll write to Gazzarin and then try to use the tool OTRS. By the way, is it not possible to have a link on this page [1] instead of this page [2] ? Or is it not allowed because of advertisement ?

Hi again, I removed "Engadiner Schaf" because Gazzarin told me that you never spell it that way, but never mind. Some people obviously spell it that way. What is more important : He told me, that the common and correct name is "Engadine sheep" ! Abbreviation "ES" ! Maybe you could mention it somewhere in the article ;-) Thanks and regards --Olga Ernst (talk) 12:45, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Good evening @Justlettersandnumbers:, these are the Ticket Numbers from OTRS:

Ticket#: 2021012810007462

Ticket#: 2021012810007435

Ticket#: 2021012810007426

Ticket#: 2021012810007408

Hopefully everything will be ok, and I don't need to do anything else !? Regards --Olga Ernst (talk) 19:09, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
