Speedy deletion nomination of Jim JC Hall
[edit]Hello Oldfieldsteve,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jim JC Hall for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Archanine (talk) 02:07, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Shocked and disappointed over deletion
[edit]I have had a disappointing first experience with Wikipedia. I carefully wrote an article about a fascinating artist who invented a new painting technique called Lineillism after his vision was temporarily affected by a bout with Shingles - and within minutes, a bunch or "haters" were attacking the citations and articles I had referenced. They quickly succeeded in having the entire post removed before I could add pictures or other materials. I can only wonder what kind of person spends their free time waiting to pounce on new entries. I might add that one of the detractors actually posted fabrications (lies) in their quest to eliminate the post. I might add that I am a professional journalist and documentary filmmaker with a Journalism degree from Northwestern and a master's degree in public history.
