[edit]You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Josh24B. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 17:41, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of bus routes in North Yorkshire, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 17:45, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at List of bus routes in North Yorkshire, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:03, 24 October 2012 (UTC) i don't think that was vandalism Oldbagservice (talk) 18:04, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Also i didn't remove anything Oldbagservice (talk) 18:07, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, you did. You removed all the templates, references, and categories. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:08, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at List of bus routes in North Yorkshire shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:14, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Josh, adding my name to the SPI, as you've tried here and here is obviously only a foolish attempt to distract others. It's plain to even Helen Keller that I'm not you. Unless you have any evidence, accusing someone of being a sockpuppet is regarded as a personal attack, which is forbidden. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:16, 24 October 2012 (UTC)7
Well ian you do revert many edits on bus related aticals just look at the history you just cant accept i'm right and before hand i was informed by a person (Who i will remane nameless) that you addmited that you were wrong about some bus changes so there i am just making it easier to understand you can help aswell to make it more understandable. i have read your welcome to i will come to you for HELP then Oldbagservice (talk) 18:23, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:
I Should be unblocked because i edit pages that are lacking detail and making them more understandable and even more so accurately correct as Ian thinks it is wrong but he just he thinks that they are wrong when i am editing pages from Yorkshire (England) when he is from South Caroline r (USA) so he doesn't no if it is wrong or not and i am not a Sock of Josh24B. Oldbagservice (talk) 18:31, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Confirmed sockpuppet of Josh24B. —DoRD (talk) 22:04, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- You admit to being from the same neighborhood as Josh and have hinted at at least knowing. Plus, you have the same writing voice (you're dealing with someone who trained to be an English teacher). As we've explained to yours/Josh's previous accounts, Wikipedia is not a directory and you have to cite sources. I guarantee no admin is going to unblock you because you've failed to recognize either of those, but instead have tried to go after others instead of showing repentance for what got you blocked. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:36, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
No i am not from same Neighbourhood (as you call it in USA) somebody else i wish to leave them nameless as it could a fend them but i have looked through history and you revert a lot of edits although i am aware of the acconts that are blocked but some of the info is correct or was before changes but i dont really care if you are an English (American) teacher as smore words are incorrect as england and english not american duh eg Colour haha joke there for some reason, well i do know what i am doing but maybe some of my edits were wrong but i approve for people to fix them. Oldbagservice (talk) 18:49, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Another Reason some of my edits may lack some small content as it is 19:51 here in England i am a little tired as i have been awake over 12 hours Oldbagservice (talk) 18:51, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- My degree is in English, so I'm well aware of dialects. It is not the correctly spelled words in which your/Josh's writing voice comes through, though. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:56, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
So what my edits are still resourceful and purposeful so i really dont see a reason and i dont care what degree you have you can still edit wikpedia full, Also Ian Your Tired Oldbagservice (talk) 19:02, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Your edits were unsourced, and unencyclopedic, both qualities this site does not want. That has been explained before. Try actually sourcing things, and making sure the content is only stuff that belongs in an encyclopedia (i.e. not schedules which constantly change) and then your edits will have a chance of surviving. Furthermore, personal attacks are not acceptable. Also, I'm feeling quite refreshed. Ian.thomson (talk) 19:17, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Well i dont see anyhting wrong with having a notes page it is helpful and what was wrong with edits as they was clearly making the info right e.g. 4 & 5, also it says on your talk pg your tired Oldbagservice (talk) 19:27, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- ??? That was a message dated from over a week ago. And what part of "your edits were not sourced and were unencyclopedic" do you not get? Even if they did belong in an encyclopedia (which Wikipedia is, and not a bus listing), they still did not cite sources, so there was no way to verify that they were "right." Ian.thomson (talk) 19:34, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Well why are they bus listing pages then????, also i didn't know when it was dated Oldbagservice (talk) 19:44, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
