Need sources

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ran Ronen-Pekker, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Fettlemap (talk) 18:11, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please use edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at United Airlines Flight 93, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Quoted source does not mention name of passenger. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Ben Sliney, you may be blocked from editing. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:23, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Murder of Polly Klaas. --GouramiWatcherTalk 01:42, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Are you not seeing the above messages? You just added unsourced content to Muammar Gaddafi despite a hidden comment specifically pointing out the need for a good source – Thjarkur (talk) 13:07, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And please don't alter information so that it does not reflect the citation attached like you did in this edit – Thjarkur (talk) 13:10, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Are you seeing the above messages? When changing information you need to add a source. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, it's very easy or even automatic to add citations if you're citing a webpage, you just need the URL. Thank you – Thjarkur (talk) 14:44, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Þjarkur. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! – Thjarkur (talk) 14:42, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ail Mohammed, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. – Thjarkur (talk) 17:16, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
