I really like this idea. When you are done with these reports, or if you run across others of a similar kind, please

include it on the meta-reports page
include a nod to any local news-like organs on that sister project [there are some that started for a time but have since stopped being updated, based a bit on the Signpost model]
date the report / include 'as of' information so that it remains a useful record in the future

What about this?
