[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Gyrotonic may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 19:52, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
Hi, it was a bot that informed you of the unpaired brackets that broke the syntax. The error occurred in one of your edits to gyrotonic, but you have already fixed the problem, when you made this edit. All is fine now! Julia\talk 20:29, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
- Those extra numbers are there because you've duplicated all of your references. You already have your references in the body of the article, which means you only need to put {{reflist}}. The template will do the rest of the magic. You can delete all of the references you've added after the reflist template. Julia\talk 21:19, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Gyrotonic Expansion System
[edit]Hello Oglala19. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Gyrotonic Expansion System".

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 12:31, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. You gave some references, but all the accessible ones were to your own company, not independent third=party sources. Those without web links also appear not to be good quality sources.
- The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
- significant coverage in
- independent,
- multiple,
- reliable,
- secondary sources.
- Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability. I don't think any of your sources meet our criteria.
- it's all about what the company sells, little about the company itself, even its location isn't mentioned in the text. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, turnover or profits. Could be one man in a shed for all we are told.
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: almost any person could perform, regardless of age or state of health... is practiced in over 4000 studios, with over 13,000 Gyrotonic, and Gyrokinesis Trainers practicing in 72 countries... It is a person's vision that guides his/her movement in the desired direction... By creating a scooping motion, and moving around joints in a circular manner, greater space may be attained in the joints, optimizing the quality, and efficiency of most joint movements... —and so on, basically a sales leaflet, most brazenly in a section consisting entirely of promotional quotes from Horvath.
- the article was a copyright violation. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. Much of the text consists of direct quotes. Although a limited amount of quotation is allowed for discussion or analysis, the quotations here are excessive in extent and promotional in nature, so they are not exempt from our requirement that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial. There is no indication that the copied sites allow free use. Text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. But in any case the copyrighted text is far too promotional to be useful for Wikipedia's purposes, so there would not be any point in your jumping through all the hoops that are required.
You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. Since you work directly or indirectly for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. Regardless, since you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Oglala19. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Oglala19|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.
Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the current notability guidelines, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:42, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
