Square EP Page
Hi, i'm not sure why you've declined the page 'Square EP' (i'm relatively new to making pages) but you said because the artist is not notable, but there is a page for Tubelord and I thought that would be notable enough. Is there anything I can change to get it approved because there isn't much about the EP on the internet because it's an early release but I just wanted to be able to provide information on it. thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Himynameisben1 (talk • contribs) 21:27, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
F2Com
I left a followup here. The F2Com tool was great, when it worked, but it is still not working, at least it isn`t working for me. Geo Swan (talk) 14:10, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. I saw you were still having trouble with the script. My first guess is that you didn't apply the update. Updates for this script must be applied manually, so you can usually just download a copy of the script again and then install it using that (follow the direction's on the script's page). Please let me know if this doesn't work, but I hope it does. --Odie5533 (talk) 14:37, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Regarding my 1st article
Hi Odie5533! I'm Siddharthswiki. You've recently edited my 1st article 'Suresh Damodar Gadre Englsh Medium School'. However, I find my article to be denied-reason:absence of any references. I wish to tell tou that there's hardly any reference to this school which is hardly 10yrs old. A private unaided school recognized by the Government of India. Yet there's hardlyany site, book, news article related to the same. The school has passed out its first batch last year, and hopefully, the 100% results should be bringing up some news, which I shall post then as a 'reference'. I conclude by asking your permission to make it an article with the available refernce I've given. Looking forward to a positive response Siddharthswiki — Preceding unsigned comment added by Siddharthswiki (talk • contribs) 15:36, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
New template at WP:RX
Thank you very much for the template.
Does it possible to hide the new section tab like in WP:3RR/N?
Can you please also include few instructions when someone post a new request.
1. Please search via Google if article you want to request available in open access.
2. When it possible please locate the article online even if it under paywall and post link to it.
3. Please add a resolved tag when you request was fulfilled.
Thank you in advance--Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 17:10, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- I'm afraid it's not possible to hide the new section tab because the RX page is in the main space instead of the talk space whereas the noticeboard is in the main space. I was able to add the edit intro as you suggested. I hope you like the changes. --Odie5533 (talk) 17:28, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe it should be moved to mainspace?--Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 17:37, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Possibly. That has to be discussed on the project though. --Odie5533 (talk) 17:40, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe it should be moved to mainspace?--Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 17:37, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- After looking it up, I was able to get rid of the new section link by deleting the __NEWSECTIONLINK__ magic word from the page. --Odie5533 (talk) 05:47, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

F2Com button
I have been trying to get the revised F2C button to work for he last hour. I seem to have got in quite a mess and I have got "F2Com button" and "F2Com button-1" in the Mozilla FireFox add-ons. I think that it would be helpful if you expanded and clarified the your notes on the installation process. With regard to your install notes: Snowman (talk) 22:00, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- I presume that "Specify the filename as f2com_button.user.js" means the same as "Change the file name to f2com_button.user.js". Snowman (talk) 22:00, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- "Find the location you saved it at, then drag the file onto FireFox". I do not know what this means. I think that this means move the file somewhere. FireFox has many files, so I have no idea where to move the file too? Snowman (talk) 22:00, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Does the tusc password need to be changed. If so this is not described in your information. Snowman (talk) 22:00, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Does FireFox need to be restated to get the F2Com button to work? Snowman (talk) 22:00, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know. I tried to clarify the directions as best I could. I also uploaded the script to Wuala which should fix the direct installation so that you don't need to follow the manual directions. Give it a try, and if it isn't working then try out the improved manual steps. FireFox shouldn't need to be restarted for it to take effect. Finally, you do need to change the TUSC password if you want to use the script with Magnus's tool. I added steps to the page to describe this process. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other problems with the script. --Odie5533 (talk) 05:18, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- I used the button with greasemonkey for months and uploaded 100s of photographs from flickr, but I can not get it to work now. I followed the new instructions. Possible problems:
- "CHANGE THIS - your username is not Odie5533..."; Does it matter what it is changed too? Does this mean change it to your own user name or leave it blank? Snowman (talk) 11:16, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Does it work with Adblock Plus? Snowman (talk) 11:16, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Does it depend on javascript? If so, how do I know if JavaScript is working on my computer? I suspect that there is something wrong with my Java (or JavaScript), because some graphs on some webpages do not display. Snowman (talk) 11:16, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Are the buttons still not showing up? Be sure you are trying it on an image which has a free license, such as this one. It does work with AdBlock Plus, and it does require JavaScript, but not Java. If you are only using GreaseMonkey to run F2ComButton, then I recommend you uninstall greasemonkey and install Scriptish instead. After that, follow the steps again. Are you seeing "F2Com Button" in the drop-down of Stylish, as my picture here shows? And it has a checkmark next to it, and so does Enabled? --Odie5533 (talk) 11:24, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- I have un-installed greasmonkey and installed scriptish. Scriptish is enabled and the F2Com_button is one of the active programs on scriptish. I am not using Stylish. There are no F3Con_buttons on a flickr page of a suitable image. Snowman (talk) 12:56, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

- Hello! I am not sure how you found me, but I'd be glad to help. The templates are both fine at the so wiki, but the problem is the CSS is not copied over. You need to copy the CSS from MediaWiki:Common.css into w:so:MediaWiki:Common.css. I would do it for you, but you need to be an admin on that wiki to do it. Let me know if that solves the problem for you. --Odie5533 (talk) 11:39, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Hey, I had to undo the C rating you gave to Battletoads (video game). I personally felt it had too many issues, such as plagiarism, cruft, and editorial comments. I've removed a lot of it and tried to patch the leftover wounds so to speak, but the article is still in pretty bad shape, especially since it's in need of reliable references. I dropped the rating back to Start class. I sincerely hope you understand. Have a good day! --ThomasO1989 (talk) 06:28, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Yosuke Hayashi
Hayashi planned (Dead or Alive 3), development-directed (Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword), lead-designed (Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Metroid: Other M) and produced (Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Metroid: Other M, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Ninja Gaiden 3, Dead or Alive 5, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge) several major video games that sold in millions of copies. Contrary to your claim, he's not a "the PR head for the team", he's doing these interviews (and quite a lot of them) as the head (chief, boss, leader, director) of the studio as a whole (since 2008). Whoever told you Hayashi is a "PR guy", they lied to you. --Niemti (talk) 13:46, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- His interviews have been about the games, not him as a person, which why I nominated the article for deletion. The community seems to agree with this view. --Odie5533 (talk) 16:31, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- His interviews have been about the games he makes (designs, directs, produces) and as the current boss of Team Ninja. You falsely nominated him for deletion as "the PR head"/"PR guy" (that's quotes), which was completely incorrect as he is not and never even ever was at such a position anywhere. "The community" believed you for some reason, and failed to use Google. --Niemti (talk) 02:15, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- I called him the "PR head for the team", meaning that he is the head of the team (Team Ninja) and he seems to do a lot of PR work as well. I probably should have separated the two aspects of his job better in my nomination, but I assure you my nomination was not intended to deceive anyone. If you believe my nomination has confused people, you could consider taking the article to WP:DRV. But please assume good faith towards the other participants—I do not have any reason to suspect that they did not thoroughly consider the subject. --Odie5533 (talk) 02:32, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- No, he talks about his work. His own work, you know? But actually also about other games, for example:[2] --Niemti (talk) 02:49, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

War for the Overworld
Hello, I noticed that you uploaded several "War for the overworld" screenshots with OTRS tickets on commons. You seems to be in contact with the developers, would it be possible to ask them if the logo File:War for the Overworld Logo.png (and maybe some more artwork) can be licensed under a CC license, too? I plan to create some german Wikipedia page were the logo is to complex for uploading. thanks and cheers Shaddim (talk) 21:42, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. When I originally asked them for the screenshots I asked too about the logo, but the person I wrote to said that he was unsure about releasing the logo and could not do so at the time. You could use the vector text version I created at right in the infobox if you want. I may ask them again about the logo and/or development pictures (concept art/work in progress pictures), but I had left them an email and don't want to be too pushy about it. Good luck on the article, and please use what screenshots you can. I've received images from other developers too, if you start to feel particularly enterprising (Commons:Special:ListFiles/Odie5533). --Odie5533 (talk) 00:14, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the info and the vector logo, will start with them, if other artwork becomes avaiable I will integrate it. cheers and thank you for your work on commons! Shaddim (talk) 20:23, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
