- สมาน ธูปประสาท = Saman Thupprasat

- อาจิณต์ พฤกษธรรมโกวิท = Achin Phrueksathammakowit

Rocket Festival
[edit]Thanks for the conversion chart in Thai Solar Calendar. Now, please check out Rocket Festival and its talk page to see if you can help with that. Does พญาแถน mean King of the Sky for sure, and do you have English-language reference for Nang Ai and Pha Dang? Lee 15:45, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Please help-Lao language request
[edit]Hello! The Wikipedia:Graphic Lab is working on artwork related to Laos, and we need some help to get the proper Lao language text into the artwork. As Thai and Lao are closely-related languages, I ask you to please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Graphic_Lab/Images_to_improve#Scouting_in_Laos and see if you can help! Thanking you in advance, Chris 05:47, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Answered. --Octra Bond 08:16, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! How would you spell it out in Latin characters, and pronounce it? Is it "Be Prepared", "Always Prepared", or does it come out as something different? I want to add it also to Scouting in Laos. Thanks again! Chris 08:26, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- "Triam Phrom" /tliaːm˨ pʰlɔːm˦˩/ (Laotian reads their "r" as "l") = "Prepared", it refers to "Be Prepared". --Octra Bond 00:44, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks again, that's great! Chris 01:17, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Hello, friend! Can you put the Thai language name of The Girl Guides Association of Thailand into the article? Thanks! Chris 06:59, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- It is "สมาคมผู้บำเพ็ญประโยชน์แห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชินูปถัมภ์" (GGAT). The assoc has already changed their logo to this. [1]. Earlier, "น.น." as shown in Eng article stood for "เนตรนารี" (lady's eyes = girl scout). Now, "บ.พ." as my link stands for the assoc name.--Octra Bond 07:17, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

The edition I mostly do is to add inter links from Thai Wikipedia. What should I type in the box such as "+th"? I want to keep it short because there are bulks of article to link so I usually skip.--Octra Bond 05:26, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Right, "+th" would be great. It really helps having even a short edit summary. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 17:07, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- More practice needed. :) If you recategorize, you can say "recat". Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:03, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Broken refs
[edit]Hi, I saw you removing this reference from The Legend of Zelda (series) because it was broken. It typically best not to do this, as the reference needs to be fixed—not removed. By removing it, you also remove any indication that a broken ref needs to be fixed. In many cases, you only need to look at a few past revisions to find the cause (in this case, two revisions before yours), and if you don't want to take the time to fix it yourself, you can simply leave it for others to fix, or notify interested parties on the talk page. Thanks, Pagrashtak 15:25, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. I will be more careful next time. --Octra Bond (talk) 16:33, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Good Evening, please, can you translate in Thai the article Martin Weinek and Kaspar Capparoni? Thanks in advance!
[edit]Good evening to you and regards from en:Campora San Giovanni. I write you regarding the articles of a note police television series: Inspector Rex. For better saying some principal actors of the international series. Martin Weinek (pronunced Vaynek) and Kaspar Capparoni. Weinek is the veteran of the Austrian series, now real member of the series international, as well as excellent agricultural and theatrical entrepreneur and an experienced wine-grower. Capparoni is the new entry of the series, but he has already worked and he works for international productions and with famous directors, I quote among everybody: Dario Argento. I think that the series will arrive within the winter 2008 thanks also to Rai International, that will be transmitted in 150 countries and in more than 70 languages, among which the Malayan. Naturally if you will help me in this, me rechanged really the favor translating a biography or a geographical article in Italian and Sicilian. In fact on the Italian edition they are biographer and geographer. In attends him of one certain answer of yours I thank you in advance and I greet you from Campora San Giovanni, my village native. Thanks still for the patience and the understanding--Lodewijk Vadacchino (talk) 20:38, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Siam Empire
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Siam Empire. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Siam Empire. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:14, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Your edit to Hybrid
[edit]Disambiguation pages are not for every article that includes the words in the title of the disambiguation page. In the case of Hybrid, not every article with "hybrid" in the title should be included. The question is, would anyone expect to find an article about Hybrid computers under the title "Hybrid"? If so, your edit was correct. If not, I suggest you remove the entry.
I don't know what people usually call hybrid computers, so I'll leave it to you to decide. --Jc3s5h (talk) 16:43, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Anyway, people in my country usually call anything hybrid as "hybrid" (transliteration) whatever it is. They don't translate. --Octra Bond (talk) 04:09, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Your reverted citation in the polytope article
[edit]Hi, I have commented at Talk:Polytope on the reversion of your citation in the Polytope article. FYI if you still feel justified, Wikipedia:Etiquette requires contested edits to be discussed before reversion, so you might like to restore it. Since I am the author of the reference you cite, I do not feel in a position to do so myself. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 21:59, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Mafai.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mafai.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:22, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. In Perpendicular, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Product (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). [edit]Thanks for uploading File:2552 calendar thai.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Wikidata
[edit]I see that you're removing interwiki links from articles with no edit summary or with an edit summary of wd. Can I draw your attention to Wikipedia:Wikidata where there are requests to:
- "Please verify that all of the interwiki links that you are removing are already on Wikidata before you remove them."
- "Please link to this page in your edit summary when removing interwiki links, so your edit is not misinterpreted as vandalism."
I've restored the interwiki links to de: and fi: that you removed from Bottled gas as they are not yet on wikidata. Perhaps you'd be kind enough to review your other edits to ensure that they comply with the instructions at the WP:Wikidata page. Thanks --RexxS (talk) 17:08, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- I already created the entity of Bottled gas d:Q8539331 before removing IL's. And also,
I re-grouped de & fi to another articlede & fi are belong to Gas cylinder d:Q774332. Why don't you carefully check? Huh? --Octra Bond (talk) 02:05, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- I already created the entity of Bottled gas d:Q8539331 before removing IL's. And also,
- Can you explain why on earth you think that removing relevant interwiki links improves the encyclopedia? It is perfectly sensible for Bottled gas to link to de:Gasflasche and fi:Kaasupullo. By removing those links, you deprive a German or Finnish reader who follows a link to the English article Bottled gas from the opportunity to switch back to a corresponding article in their own language. If you have no idea of how interwiki links work, you ought not to be removing them. Wikidata is meant be a means of improving our linking, not making it worse by being a strait-jacket of simple-minded one-to-one links. Please revert your damage to Bottled gas. And get your act together on edit summaries. --RexxS (talk) 07:35, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- I am not a newbie that you can convince. I work on Wikidata and I understand it very well. I also have built a bot to do the task (and it has been approved).
- About the articles, I could say that I do not know well on those languages; but I judged by overall content like layout, images, tables, original terms, etc. At first, I created Bottled gas @ d:Q8539331 to collect its IL's (see its history if you doubt). The de:Gasflasche and fi:Kaasupullo themselves were already mapped to Gas cylinder d:Q774332 (see their history again), while they were misplaced in en:Bottled gas in the same time. What I did was removing the conflict. I did not change on Wikidata because its priority is the first. If you see that they should map to another article, do it pal. --Octra Bond (talk) 08:43, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm perfectly aware of how long you've been editing, congratulations. But it's disappointing that you seem so set in your ways that you miss the problems you cause. If you can't see that removing the links from Bottled gas to de:Gasflasche and fi:Kaasupullo makes the encyclopedia worse, then you really have lost sight of what we're supposed to be doing. Your so-called "conflict" only exists in your head - a triumph of bureaucracy over common sense. --RexxS (talk) 09:13, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Whatever. Although 2 en articles map to 1 de, people from de still does not know that there are 2 articles in en; it shows only one which is centralized, for example. You can protest for keeping IL's but at least you could suggest which main entity to be migrate for de
& fi, either bottled gas or gas cylinder. I told you to do that. However, I accept only "section linking" (#) for many-to-one mapping. (My bot does that condition.) --Octra Bond (talk) 10:05, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

- Yesterday, I read fi article via translation. I found that it focuses on container rather than gas. Additionally, the fi link has been belong to gas cylinder, so there is no reason to keep it on bottled gas. Interwiki links are not like see-also pages; they group the same thing described in different languages. The common sense is not always correct. --Octra Bond (talk) 04:46, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
