We would like to add information as have people on the page "Cosmic", where bands having the generic name have been cited, as have other genres and artworks.
Ocean is the name of an artist who not only should be mentioned on the "Ocean" page since it is her name and her performing name, but because she is active in conserving the oceans.
We'd also like to add an informative article on Ocean, the recording artist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oceann (talk • contribs)
- I don't know who we are in the above comment, but Wikipedia is not for promotional purposes. I have blocked you for 24 hours to get your attention as you have ignored my previous warning. Vsmith 10:16, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please take a look at Ocean (disambiguation), if you create an article for your artist (assuming some notability and non-promotional) this would be the page to add a link. I note there is already an article Ocean (band) about a 70s group so an article about another artist or group would need a different and unique name. Vsmith 10:30, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- The page Cosmic is a disambiguation which means it links to a number of pages within wikipedia which may the page the user is looking for. The artist Ocean has nothing to do with oceans other than her name is ocean and she may be interested in the oceans. You can make a page called Ocean (band) or somethign and link to the site from there once you have written something about the band. Consistently readding the link will do nothing but get you removed from wikipedia, as this is vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chris huh (talk • contribs)
