You changed the names of the templates on the talk page of Senkaku Islands. This is a really bad idea. please dont make any more edits like this. I am new to this article, and dont know the history, but its obvious that there are strong sanctions on certain types of editing, and this is definitely that type.(mercurywoodrose)108.94.0.18 (talk) 01:44, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Senkaku Islands is a fake or a false from the English name, Pinnacle Islands in 1900 when a Japanese hastily translated the English name, "Pinnacle Islands" into a Japanese one, "Senkaku Shotō" without identification from the used name, "Uotsuri Jima". Anyone changed the names of the templates on the talk page of Diaoyu Islands which is a really bad idea and ignorant mistake. please don't make any more mistakess like this.

Your subpage

[edit]

Please explain how your subpage, User:OYCH1961/Fishing islets is going to be helpful for the encyclopedia. Per our policies, Wikipedia is not a webhost. You cannot use your userspace to store polemic arguments supporting a particular political position. And since, as you know, we already have an article on Senkaku Islands and Senkaku Islands dispute, I don't see any usefulness to those pages. If you can provide a justification, perhaps they can stay, but if you do not, I will nominate them for deletion. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:34, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sanctions

[edit]

Also, please be aware that Senkaku Islands and all related articles are under discretionary sanctions. That means that any editor deliberately editing in an aggressive, disruptive, and/or non-neutral way can be blocked by an uninvolved admin. If you look at the top of Talk:Senkaku Islands there is an explanation. Please note that now that you are aware of those sanctions, you are responsible for following them. Fishing Islands/islets is an inherent name. Senkaku Islands is a fake or a false from the English name, Pinnacle Islands in 1900 when a Japanese hastily translated the English name, "Pinnacle Islands" into a Japanese one, "Senkaku Shotō" without identification from the used name, "Uotsuri Jima" or Fishing Islands. Anyone changed the names, Diaoyu Islands which is a really bad idea and an ignorant mistake but for Japanese to make the territorial claims. please don't make any more mistake like this.

Your contributions on Talk: Senkaku Islands are in direct breach of the sanctions. I am going to request that you be blocked accordingly. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:49, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:OYCH1961/Fishing islets, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:OYCH1961/Fishing islets and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:OYCH1961/Fishing islets during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:48, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the instructions just above here: you may make changes to that page, but you may not remove the deletion template while discussion is ongoing. It wouldn't stop the deletion, anyway--that discussion is going on at the linked page. Qwyrxian (talk) 06:59, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've just re-deleted the article after it was already deleted by another admin. While I see you are blocked for a month, if you recreate it after you return, you'll certainly be reblocked, probably indefinitely. Seriously, what you need to do is get a blog, or web page, or journal, or something, and post your opinions there. Wikipedia isn't the place. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:36, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration enforcement

[edit]
To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing arbitration enforcement blocks and follow the instructions there to appeal your block.

Notice to administrators: In a March 2010 decision, the Committee held that "Administrators are prohibited from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page. Any administrator that overturns an enforcement action outside of these circumstances shall be subject to appropriate sanctions, up to and including desysopping, at the discretion of the Committee."

Per discussion at User talk:NuclearWarfare#Senkaku Islands discretionary sanctions request. The case which authorizes these sanctions is Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Senkaku Islands. EdJohnston (talk) 04:18, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
