Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome!--WillMak050389 20:05, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Re:Check email
[edit]- Check your own, and chill out.
- You can put {{talkpage}} at the top of your talk page. If you want a customized one like mine, you have to use html. You can steal the code from the top of my page and change the colors around or tell me what you'd like and I'll try to do it for you.

Welcome (again) to Wikipedia!
[edit]Hello OB-rad, welcome to Wikipedia! As I promised you before, here are some tips:
- First, follow the Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- Take a look at the Simplified Ruleset.
- Read the Tutorial, How to edit a page, and the Manual of Style.
- Find out how to revert, move and merge pages.
- Learn what the proper tags to place on stubs (short articles) are.
- Learn how Articles for deletion works.
- Add yourself to the New user log and a regional notice board.
- Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.
- Use the Show preview button.
- Provide an Edit summary.
- Read the Picture tutorial for help with images and remember to add the correct image copyright tag to any images you upload.
- Check out the Community Portal.
- Create a User page.
- Be bold.
- Ignore all rules.
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else how to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. Just click on this link and type {{helpme}} followed by your question. An experienced editor will be along shortly to answer your question 24/7. There are also the help pages for self-help and the village pump and IRC Channels where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance. You should also feel free to ask me on my Talk page.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes(~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Please do not add this signature to encyclopedia articles you may edit, however, even if you have created them. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person. Your contribution is credited on articles' history pages. Again, welcome!

Re:McGavick
[edit]- When adding new comment topics, please make use of the subject/headline feature. You can do this by using the small box labelled Subject/headline or by using wikimarkup like this: ==Headline==.
- When leaving comments on a talk page, please sign your comment by using tildes as detailed at the end of the welcome messages above.
- I would say it was unnecessary, but since there is no other source cited for much of the information it needs to stay to satisfy WP:VERIFY.

MfD nomination of User:Hansahni
[edit]User:Hansahni, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Hansahni and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Hansahni during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Widefox; talk 11:11, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
