Welcome!

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, East Coast hip hop, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
- It needs to have a wp:reliable source. Unsourced content of this nature will be removed. Ping me with {{u|Jim1138}} and sign "~~~~" or message me on my talk page. 21:29, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Midwest hip hop without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ping me with {{u|Jim1138}} and sign "~~~~" or message me on my talk page. 21:33, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Southern hip hop without explaining why. Sources
[edit]Wikipedia policy wp:verifiability means essentially: If you don't have a wp:reliable source, don't add it to the article. I don't get to add unsourced material to anything either. If you are an expert in Hip Hop, write something, get is acknowledged as the definitive reference for Hip Hop and then use that as a source. If you don't like this, go start your own website. Questions? Please direct them to wp:teahouse Thank you Ping me with {{u|Jim1138}} and sign "~~~~" or message me on my talk page. 09:31, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
Please don't add unsourced material to Wikipedia articles. The unsourced content you added has been removed. Avoid adding your name to articles. These articles are written by multiple editors. May I suggest that you read the welcome section at the top of this page before editing again? Ping me with {{u|Jim1138}} and sign "~~~~" or message me on my talk page. 07:00, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Midwest hip hop. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Human3015 knock knock • 18:39, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
To Nu Yawk
[edit]I wanted to reach out to you again about your work on East Coast hip hop. You've been blocked twice for your editing there, and now warned by multiple editors under this new account. I really appreciate your attempts to convey your expertise on this subject; you definitely know more about it than I do. But Wikipedia isn't a place for any of us to write our own views about a subject, even if we're experts. (You can publish your own personal views elsewhere.) The only way a collaborative project as large as Wikipedia can work is by having specific policies about content and about conflict resolution. At this point, you've violated those more times than could be counted. If you're interested in studying Wikipedia's policies and becoming a constructive editor, that would be fantastic. At the top of this page are lots of links in the "welcome box" which can get you started learning about editing policy here. However, you should know that currently you are blocked from editing Wikipedia due to disruptive editing, and this account is an obvious attempt at evading that block, which isn't productive for anyone. —J D (talk) 21:14, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bishonen | talk 23:20, 28 June 2015 (UTC) |
