Chinese
[edit]I saw your question on User Talk:Hyacinth but thought I could answer here.
To mark text as Chinese, so it's recognised by the web browser and other software, you can use the {{lang}} template.
So for example the following text 联合国大会 becomes 联合国大会. It may look no different but could use different fonts depending on your browser settings.
That looks like this {{lang|zh-Hans|联合国大会}} in the edit window.
'zh-Hans' is the proper way of indicating "Chinese, with simplified characters". 'zh' on its own means just Chinese.
If you want to provide links to the language use the {{zh}} template
e.g. {{zh| 联合国大会}} gives Chinese: 联合国大会.
For more information see the templates {{zh}} and {{lang}}.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 03:15, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
